Rae Antonoff: New Exhibition
Rae Antonoff is one of the teachers in our Family Education Program Ohr Chayim, in addition to being an artist and an education student. A new exhibition of her micrographic work opens June 6
Rae’s personal mission is to engage Jewish people of all ages and backgrounds with the rich cultural heritage and textual tradition of Judaism through art, especially the idea of the written word as art. Though her primary art form is micrography at the moment, she works with a variety of artistic media to forge connections between Jewish tradition and the innate human search for meaning of life.
Rae’s new exhibit, sponsored by the National Council of Jewish Women/Los Angeles section, will be available to enjoy from June 6-August 16 at the Council House (543 N. Fairfax Avenue Los Angeles). On Thursday, June 6, at 6pm, there will be an opening Art Reception event.
