Project Caring
Project Caring was a long-standing mitzvah project that BCC members and friends created, sponsored and valued for more than 36 years. In the founding years of BCC, our members believed it was important to share Shabbat joy through song and prayer with elders who were no longer able to come to synagogue.
Due to the demographics in BCC’s neighborhood, this project ended in 2009 under the volunteerism and wonderful guidance of Chaplain Bonnie Leopold. Over three decades our members diligently served our neighborhood community through Project Caring and engendered many with BCC’s unique spiritual joy.
