THIS GROUP IS NOW FULL!  Sunday, August 25, “CBT Techniques for Everyday Living”, 1:00pm to 3pm.  Learn techniques for stress reduction, problem-solving and decreasing procrastination. This is an educational workshop that is perfect for those who would like to improve their day-to-day handling of events.

BCC Board Member, Everlyn A. Hunter, Psy.D, M.S., has a doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco and a Masters degree in both Clinical Child Psychology and School Psychology. She completed her doctoral training in Counseling Psychology at Stanford University’s Vaden Health Center in the Counseling and Psychological Services division.

Everlyn is also an accomplished filmmaker who graduated from the Vancouver Film School with a degree in Writing for Television, Film and Interactive Media. She brings to this workshop, 15+ years of training parents, teachers, administrators, adults and children in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques to assist with such varied problems as -homework compliance, stress reduction, depression and anxiety management, conduct disorders, artistic blocks, etc.

This focus group is a designed to provide feedback on the teaching of CBT techniques and should not be viewed as therapy. It is not a substitute for a therapeutic relationship with a trained therapist.
