Read The Frozen Rabbi in July!
BCC Books and Bagels will meet on Sunday, July 24, at 10:00 a.m. to discuss The Frozen Rabbi, by Steven Stern. It’s a comic novel in which an Old World rabbi is frozen in the late 1800s and thaws out a century later in the United States, observing what has happened to Judaism and the Jewish people in his absence (sort of a Jewish Rip van Winkle).
