Celebrate Hanukkah at BCC!
Friday, December 23rd, 2011 will be a special Hanukkah celebration at BCC. Join us for our first Hanukkah in the new building!
The festivities start at 6:30pm with a BCC Families with Kids “Bring Your Own Dinner”, followed by Family Hanukkah festivities at 7:00pm, led by Director of Education, Leah Zimmerman. Be sure to bring your Hanukkiah and candles for the annual community menorah lighting! The candle lighting ceremony for the entire congregation begins promptly at 7:30pm, followed by songs, the BCC Choir, Latkes (prepared by BCC’s own Chef Peter Bastien), and schmoozing. Our Shabbat Hanukkah service begins at 8pm, including a special Board-of-Directors Installation. Finally, stay for a fantastic oneg after services for Sufganiot and other goodies!!
