This is a new biography of Jesus of Nazareth written by a Muslim, primarily relying not on the Gospels but on other sources to explore his relationship to the Judaism of his time and the circumstances of Roman occupation in Judea. The group meets in private homes and space is limited. To reserve a seat, contact Larry.
Sunday, May 25 at 7:30pm: Marsha Attie‘s Graduation Recital at BCC! Marsha elevated our bimah with her beautiful voice, inspiring music and enlivening presence. Her most influential prayers are sung at BCC to this date. Whether you are a fan, or haven’t heard of her, join us at BCC for a recital in celebration of her ordination as a Cantor from The Academy for Jewish Religion (AJR). Marsha has been living in the Bay Area and after ordination will return to Congregation Emanu-El in SF as a Cantor. In addition to Marsha Attie and other exceptional voices, BCC’s Cantor Juval Porat’s voice will join this unique night of liturgical and exquisite music.
