BCC hosts this drumming workshop, part of the Jewish Wisdom & Wellness biennial Festival of Learning, where Jewish wisdom reveals new perspectives on life’s challenges. Grab a drum and join in the healing rhythms of a Jewish drum circle! The Jewish Wisdom & Wellness Festival brings attendees together with health professionals, rabbis, and teachers from across the Jewish community to examine traditions and their impact on your well-being.

Open up your heart to the healing rhythms around you. Combining drumming with sacred chants and blessings, we come together as a community to relax, make a spiritual connection and have fun in the process. Jeffrey Prince, Los Angeles native music teacher and expert on the healing powers of drum circles, will be leading this workshop as part of the Kalsman Institute of Jewish Healing Conference. Drums and percussion instruments will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you have one. No previous music or drumming experience needed!
Jeffrey Prince is known for his contagious enthusiasm, high energy and passion for Jewish music. A Jewish music educator, song leader and drum circle facilitator for many years, Jeffrey believes in creating meaningful and lasting Jewish connections through music and drumming.
