Friday! October 19 Ruach Chayim (Spirit of Life) Musical Shabbat Service led by Rabbi Lisa Edwards, Cantor Juval Porat and a special guest musician at 8pm!
Our Ruach Chayim musical service has been wildly popular, with a packed sanctuary every month. Let the beautiful combination of voice, guitar and drum transport you to the “palace” of Shabbat. This service is a participatory and spiritual welcoming to Shabbat in the best of BCC’s tradition. Bring friends and loved ones to learn the new melodies. Allow the music to transport you.
We begin Ruach Chayim with a 6:30pm delicious Shabbat Dinner Buffet prepared by the also wildly popular Chef Peter Bastien in BCC’s kitchen. Only $20 per person. Help keep Shabbat business free, pay in advance through the temple office by Thursday October 18 at 3pm. If you have questions contact Temple office. Limited seating may be available at the door on a first come first serve basis. Our Menu this month is: A Super Food Shabbat Dinner Buffet! Enjoy various super-foods such as kale, quinoa, hemp seeds, flax, teff, salmon, squash, tomatoes, and edamame, including a print-out on all the nutritional and health benefits of each dish presented. It will be equally educational and delicious!
