LGBT Jews Celebrate Israel
On April 21, 2013 we Celebrate Israel, the largest annual Jewish happening in North America, celebrating Israel’s 65th Independence Day.
All Jewish communities are united to celebrate this special day in Rancho Park, in a festival that includes live multi-cultural entertainment, amusement park and even a model of the Israeli space shuttle to the moon!
The organizers are donating 20% of all tickets sales generated through this link to BCC. So send it to all your friends who you think would like to go : http://celebrateisraelfestival-BethChaimChadashim.eventbrite.com
Also, BCC is teaming up with our friends at Kol Ami and JQ International, to form an LGBT group that will represent LGBT Jews in the 3 mile community-wide Walk for Israel on the same day. Please see the ad below (the walk is- of course- free of charge).
We will meet in front of Temple Isaiah, 10345 W Pico Blvd. Wear a BCC or LGBT related t-shirt. The march is followed by the Israel Festival. Walking begins at 9:00am, starting from 2551 Motor Avenue.
