Purim at BCC
Put on your Shushan shoes – and hold on to your Hamantashen! Wednesday, March 23, is time for Purim at BCC! Come to our Megilla Mash-Up with a different group to act out each Megilla scene!
6pm-ish We’ll start early for our families with kids with hamentashen and crafts.
7pm-ish Purim Shpiel, Megillah reading and costume carnival.
Refreshments will be served. Costumes encouraged!
Purim Tzedakah Drive
It’s part of our tradition to give tzedakah on Purim. Collectively we can raise plenty of shekels to change people’s lives for the better. This year, BCC Purim donations are being given to the SOVA Pesach food distribution program, and the Jewish Joint Distribution Fund assisting with food, clothing and emergency medical services for refugees fleeing war-torn Syria. At some point during the BCC Megillah reading on March 23, there will be an opportunity, if you choose, to drop some bills in Haman’s hat. See you on Purim.
