Shabbat Service at BCC, July 18 2014
Friday, July 18 at 6:30pm: Early Intergenerational Services. Join Rabbi Heather Miller and Cantor Juval Porat for a 1-hour service, featuring joyful musical selections and teachings designed for an intergenerational celebration. All ages are welcome! We’ll say goodbye to Rabbi D’ror Chankin-Gould, Cantor David Berger & their son, Matan, as they move to Chicago. Also Rabbi Joe Hample & Barry Wendell will be visiting that night followed by a vegetarian potluck dinner.
Full Schedule:
5:45-6:30 potluck (or bring your own dinner) for families with children who need to eat early
6:30 – 7:30 Rabbi Heather and Cantor Juval lead a lively family friendly intergenerational service, including a blessing for BCC members Michele & Michelle & their new baby, and a farewell to Rabbi D’ror Chankin-Gould & Cantor David Berger & Matan as they head for their new adventure in Chicago.
After shul special 7:45 – 9pm “Rabbis, Cantors, Rebetzns, & BCC” — enjoy a VEGETARIAN potluck + oneg while we chat with these BCC connected rabbis & their spouses — Rabbi D’ror Chankin-Gould & Cantor David Berger, Rabbi Joe Hample & Barry Wendell, Rabbi Ellen Jaffe Gill & Spencer Gill
