Friday, May 30 at 8pm: Shabbat Services with Rabbi Lisa Edwards & Lay Leader Robin Berkovitz. Please join us for Shabbat services with a special honor given to Bob Levy for his “History of the Arab-Israel Conflict” class teaching. There will be a special Oneg in honor of Bob, sponsored by his students.
For our friends outside Los Angeles: Friday Shabbat Services will be live streamed. After services join us for Oneg refreshments. Click the “Worship” tab above, on the roll down menu choose “BCC Live Video & Audio” to view the stream. Find out how you can participate in the service from your computer at home!
Saturday, May 31, 10am-12:30pm: Ohr Chayim. All BCC families with children, toddlers, or babies (regardless of whether or not you are enrolled in Ohr Chayim) are invited to join us for Shabbat Services, 10am. Email Director of Education Leah Zimmerman if you will join, to help prepare materials for all the children.
Saturday, May 31, 10am-1pm: The Women’s Havurah Goes to the Getty Center. Join the Women’s Havurah for a special presentation “The View from Here: L.A. and Photography” with a key note speaker and panel discussions. Register for the talk at The Getty or call 310-440-7300. Meet outside the Harold Williams Auditorium at 10am. Or if you prefer, feel free to tour the beautiful gardens and interesting galleries. We will all reconvene for lunch at 12:30pm at the self-service café. No admission fee. Parking is $15. If we have a group of 15, we can schedule a tour at 11am, right before lunch.
