Weekend Activities at BCC: November 14-16, 2014
Friday, November 14, Intergenerational Shabbat Services, 6:30pm. Join us for Shabbat services led by Rabbi Heather Miller and Lay Leader Robin Berkovitz. This week’s oneg sponsors are Bruce & Charlotte Maxwell in memory of their father and husband, Sy Maxwell.
For our friends outside Los Angeles: Friday Shabbat Services will be live streamed. After services join us for Oneg refreshments. Saturday, November 15, Saturday Morning Minyan, 10am. You’re invited to a traditional style Shabbat morning service infused with BCC’s informal, welcoming spirit and warmth of community including rousing melodies, Torah reading and discussion of the week’s Torah portion. Learners welcome! An English service transliteration is available, making it easy for everyone to participate. Kiddish and vegetarian potluck follows the service.
Saturday, November 15, All Havurot Big Gay Happy Hour @ Kitchen 24 in WeHo, 3pm. It’s Big. It’s Gay. It’s Happy! We’ll Nosh! What else do you need to know?
