WeHo Rally Celebrates Long March to Marriage
Rabbi Lisa Edwards is mentioned in the coverage of the West Hollywood Marriage Equality #DecisionDay rally by Los Angeles’ LGBT magazine Frontiers.
Rabbi Lisa Edwards of the historic Beth Chayim Chadashim represented LGBT religious leaders and people of faith, noting that leaders such as MCC Founder Rev. Troy Perry, Rabbi Denise Eger, Rev. Neil Thomas and Rev. Canon Ian Elliot Davies of St. Thomas the Apostle Hollywood (above) have been providing a haven for lost souls, comforting people with HIV/AIDS, marrying same sex couples and fighting Prop 8 and injustice wherever it occurs.
The Supreme Court victory, said Edwards, “was a victory of the human heart.”
