This is a memoir by the famous creator of such iconic TV programs as All in the Family, spanning the decades of his life from childhood during the Great Depression to his early years in L.A., his triumphs as a comedy writer, his political advocacy work, and his reflections on how to manage one’s private life while being a well-known public figure.
