The White House is showing its pride for the LGBT community this month while the Supreme Court is poised to rule on two landmark marriage equality cases. BCC’s 2013 Humanitarian Award honoree David Codell, legal director at UCLA Law’s William’s Institute and LGBT attorney share his thoughts on the upcoming decision on MSNBC Thursday on the Thomas Roberts Show.

“I think that the most significant take away from the fact that the justices have had gay law clerks, and have interacted regularly with gay employees and other people in their personal lives is that they understand gay people as individuates and gay people as members of family,” David said in the interview.
