As a part of the Jewish Wisdom and Wellness week , BCC hosts ‘Drumming for the Jewish Soul,’ with Jewish Music Specialist Jeffrey Prince. The event takes place on Earth Day, Monday, April 22 from 7:30-9pm at BCC. Click here for early registration.

Open up your heart to the healing rhythms around you. Combining drumming with sacred chants and blessings, we come together as a community to relax, make a spiritual connection and have fun in the process. Jeffrey Prince, Los Angeles native music teacher and expert on the healing powers of drum circles, will be leading this workshop as part of the Kalsman Institute of Jewish Healing Conference. Drums and percussion instruments will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you have one.  No previous music or drumming experience needed!

Jeffrey Prince  is known for his contagious enthusiasm, high energy and passion for Jewish music.  A Jewish music educator, song leader and drum circle facilitator for many years, Jeffrey believes in creating meaningful and lasting Jewish connections through music and drumming.

Watch this one minute video as the teacher explains the workshop and the relationship to healing, and welcomes you to try it out at BCC:
