Mark Your Calendar! Tuesday, March 26, Pesach Seder, 6:30pm.

“In every generation, all persons must regard themselves as if they personally had come out of Egypt.” – Each year Jewish tradition invites us to contemplate and reflect on our own exodus and liberation. Many texts, rituals, melodies and dishes provide us with the tools to celebrate Passover, also known as Khag Ha’kheyrut – the Holiday of freedom – but above all, there is community that’s there to listen and share our own experiences. Please join Rabbi Lisa Edwards and Cantor Juval Porat for an alternative 2nd night Passover Seder at BCC.

There will be music, traditional Haggadah reading, Seder-style buffet dinner and alternative readings telling our own personal journeys to freedom.

Let us each make this year’s Seder even more personal and meaningful by sharing our freedom-stories. All forms of freedom-expressions are encouraged: poetry, paintings, movies, sculptures, rap, dance, story- telling, performance—any way that you can tell your story of freedom.

Please submit your written works to Cantor Juval. Items to be displayed may be left in Cantor Juval’s office with your name on them. We look forward to seeing you at the BCC Annual 2nd Night Seder.

The Seder price is $55 per person.

The Buffet Menu:

    Dear Rabbi Warshaw,
The Catering Service has no official Kosher certificate, since it is open on Saturday. Besides that all ingredients are Kosher for Passover.
There is currently no discount option available, however no one is going to be turned away for monetary issues. If necessary we can make special arrangements. Please let me know. The deadline for reservations is March 22 by 3pm.
    Thanks again for your interest,
    Juval
