It was a big musical celebration on Saturday and a whole-lot of laughs, as Mostly Kosher took the BCC stage with their unique sound (and funny monologues), and our cantor Juval Porat fit seamlessly into their show, singing in English, Yiddish and Hebrew

Here’re three clips from the concert, Bei Mir Bist Du Sheyn, originally written in 1932 for the musical ‘I Would If I Could,’  Oyfn Pripetshik – which is a 1918 song about a rabbi teaching his young students the alef bet,  and Tumbalalaika, a Russian-Jewish folk song that even received it’s Hebrew version.
