Weekend Activities at BCC: June 21-23 / 2013
Friday, June 21 at 8:00 pm: Welcoming Shabbat with Lay Leaders Jeff Bernhardt & Bracha Yael. BCC began with a small group of lesbian and gay Jews gathering in a safe place to worship. This long lasting tradition of lay led services has been part of the foundation that created our House of New Life. Being a voice in BCC’s ritual programming is one of the perks of membership. Please join BCC members Jeff and Bracha for a warm and homey Shabbat Service in the BCC tradition. Our service is followed by a social-hour of friendship and refreshments. Our oneg sponsors for June 21 are The Alhadeff Family in memory of BCC member, Lee Alhadeff’s grandmother.

Sunday, June 23 at 10:00 am: BCC Book Group. Join the BCC book group to discuss Last Days of Summer, by Steve Kluger, A novel about a 12-year-old Jewish boy and a professional baseball player in New York during World War II. Sunday, June 23 at 2pm — 6pm: Women Playing Board Games and Hangin’ Out. Join the BCC Women’s Havurah for one of their most popular things to do: play board games, snack and laugh. The fun takes place in a member’s home. Bring a snack to share and your favorite board game. RSVP to Sylvia .
