Weekend Activities at BCC: October 4-6 / 2013
Friday October 4, at 8:00 pm: Shabbat Services with Cantor Juval Porat & Lay Leader Bracha Yael. Join your BCC family in welcoming Shabbat with beautiful prayers, uplifting thoughts and traditional songs in the BCC way. Services are followed by a social hour of refreshments.
For our friends outside Los Angeles: Shabbat Services at 8pm will be live streamed. Click the “Worship” tab above, on the roll down menu choose “BCC Live Video & Audio” to view the stream. Find out how you can participate in the service from your computer at home!
Saturday, October 5 at 10:00am-12:30pm: Ohr Chayim. BCC’s program for children. BCC families meet for children’s program of Jewish learning. For children of all ages. Email Leah Zimmerman, Director of Education for details at Leah@bcc-la.org.
Sunday, October 6th 2013, BCC’s 20’s & 30’s Havurah will be going to Disneyland’s annual Gay Days event. This is open to all BCC’s members and friends. The prices are: $82 for Adults (ages 10 years and over) and $77 for Children (ages 3-9 years old). Please RSVP no later than Friday, September 20th 2013. Lastly, don’t forget to wear red in support of the official GAY DAYS pride color. See you guys there!
