Our warm and welcoming Shabbat service, Wisdom of our Sages torah study and Morning Minyan are just part of the Jewish activities, with LGBT flavor, that we plan for you this weekend at BCC.

As a part of strengthening the connection to our wonderful heritage and keeping the bond within the Jewish-LGBT community members, BCC offers social, educational, and volunteer programs for members and non-members alike. It’s a great opportunity to feel the warm embrace of your people and their history.

Here’s a list of what we offer this weekend:

Study the Wisdom of Our Sages. Thursday, May 16 at 7:30pm. During the six weeks between Pesach and Shavuot, Jews everywhere study Pirkei Avot (Wisdom of our Sages), a common-sense guide to being a mentsch. During each class a Kevah Teaching Fellow will lead an in depth discussion of a chapter of Pirkei Avot. This week’s Kevah Fellow is Kadin Henningsen. Future Dates: 5/23  Read more
