Who’s Your Bubbie? Reflect. Share. Eat. Tuesday, November 13 a Jewish Foodie Nosh at the Skirball Cultural Center!

As part of our Tuesday class with Rabbi Lisa Edwards “Topics in Judaism,” BCC will be an organizational partner for Who’s Your Bubbie? Reflect. Share. Eat.  Instead of our Tuesday study, join this class field trip and meet us at the Skirball Cultural Center at 7p.m.

Who’s Your Bubbie? Reflect. Share. Eat.  Tuesday, November 13, from 7:00 to 10:00 pm at Skirball Cultural Center

Just in time for winter holiday entertaining:  Throw in a handful of storytelling, a pinch of tasty nosh, a splash of wine and you’ll get an evening dedicated to food, family recipes, and the stories that link them together.

Join Pulitzer Prize winning LA Times Food Critic Jonathan Gold along with James Beard Award winner David Sax and LA’s hottest award-winning chefs Roxana Jullapat of Cooks County, Micah Wexler of Mezze and Susan Feniger of Street and The Border Grill in conversation with Evan Kleinman of KCRW’s Good Food for the launch of Beyond Bubbie – an interactive community cookbook and place to share stories connected to these recipes.

Please join other foodies at the Skirball Cultural Center for a fun evening dedicated to Jewish food and cooking. Bring your favorite recipe to be featured on www.beyondbubbie.com! Tickets are $20 per person. Get your tickets here.

Sponsored by Reboot, a think tank focused on rethinking Jewish life, tradition and ritual for a new generation. BCC is an organizational partner. All are invited to attend this event along with the Topics in Judaism class which will attend this event rather than meet at BCC for class that night.
