Women’s Havurah Tea Party, The BCC Way!

A Tea-Blending Workshop Party co-sponsored by the BCC Women’s Havurah and Repair for Justice will take place on Sunday, June 26, between 1-3pm.

ALL Women, join us at BCC for a fun and informative afternoon on the politics & history of plant medicine, learn what herbs help our bodies release stress or oppression, which are medicinal or soothing, and gain the hands-on experience of tea blending. There will be recipes and demonstrations on how teas are made using a collection of over 120 organic and wild-crafted herbs and disposable or reusable fill-able tea bags. You are also able to experiment making your own tea blends using the herbs you enjoy best.

This tea party will include gluten free, vegan, organic and Kosher scones to snack-on prepared on-site by the Repair for Justice group.

BONUS! There will also be a demo on how to make herbal extractions—you know, the pricey type you buy at the health food store in little dropper bottles?

Everything is provided in this workshop. A $5 suggested donation is requested, but no one will be turned away due to lack of funds.

A few BCC volunteers are needed to help bring supplies to our shul by car. If you can volunteer to drive supplies, have questions or want to RSVP, please email Ronnie at bccwomen@bcc-la.org.
